I told her to give me her best angry…

Just a couple of photos that I got of our adopted cat, Angry yesterday checking out the sunset over Conshohocken. :-) Her name is Angry because she screams at us for food angrily, twice a day, not because she is actually angry. She’s really quite sweet.

[I know the window is filthy, but Mac’s favorite thing is sitting there and rubbing his nose and tongue back and forth across the glass. He does it whenever Jason allows him up in his office where this window is located.]

Tell me this doesn’t look like the most beautiful beach day you’ve ever seen? I can imagine sitting there right now…I wish I were.

Last weekend we spent Saturday and Sunday celebrating Lauri’s last days as a bachelorette. Lauri is my very first friend to get married and I am so super excited for her…and excited to help her celebrate at her wedding! We had an awesome time laying on the beach and relaxing and of course doing some partying. :-) Lauri’s sister Andrea, the maid of honor, did a great job planning the weekend and we all had so much fun.

Isn’t she gonna be the cutest bride? :-)

For Jason’s birthday, I spent hours making an authentic clam bake dinner which included mussels, clams, shrimp, kielbasa and lobster tail (live lobster just was not happening). He unfortunately does not get this sort of meal very often, since I’m a vegetarian and pretty much ate exclusively the corn on the cob. :-) It was totally worth it though because he was completely surprised and LOVED every bite.

This photo is from a bar mitzvah several months ago and has absolutely nothing to do with our dinner. It’s good though, right? Mantel material.

This was Jason’s dessert. That is a big pile of beef jerky with a candle on it…and I’m not joking. He said it was the best birthday cake he’d ever had. :-)
